Trump makes nuclear mistake on arms control treaty with Russia

Since the end of the Cold War, verifiable nuclear arms reductions have been a bipartisan priority. Both Democratic and Republican administrations worked to reduce the number of Russian nuclear weapons that could be pointed at the United States and vice versa. Unfortunately, this bipartisan consensus has been dangerously unsettled during a phone call between President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin.
