Jeremy Corbynís Labour Party pulled off a stunning upset in the recent British elections, destroying the Toriesí majority and endangering Theresa Mayís future as prime minister. Labour accomplished this despite long odds and the near-universal assumption among the commentariat and much of the political class that Corbynís leadership would inevitably lead the party to a crushing defeat.
