Why North Korea's latest nuclear weapons test may have been a game-changing explosion

Deep inside a North Korean mountain on September 3, the government of leader Kim Jong Un set off its largest-ever nuclear test blast. The explosion occurred at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site, a series of tunnels located within Mount Mantap where the government, which calls itself the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, has detonated at least five other nuclear devices.
