North Korea is hurrying to develop nuclear weapons that can be mounted on intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) capable of reaching the U.S. mainland. On Sept. 3, the country pushed ahead with its sixth nuclear test, announcing that it had “successfully tested a hydrogen bomb capable of being mounted on an ICBM.” How far has North Korea advanced in the miniaturization of nuclear weapons?
