Lessons from North Korea: Global and Total Nuclear Disarmament

September 28, 2017
By Dario Ergas

It is difficult to imagine that a terrorist act could happen when I or someone dear to me is moving along a busy street, or visiting a religious or tourist site. It is difficult to imagine the intentional killing of human beings. It is hard to imagine that a nuclear bomb could fall on a city and kill hundreds of thousands of people and that radioactivity will continue to kill them over the following years and that future generations will suffer the consequences of that radiation. It is difficult to imagine that happening. It happened once, and we think of it as a dream or it will not happen again. We push these thoughts away because they harm us and we place them in the field of fantasy writing.
